Staff Profiles

John began his education in accounting in 1974 at a Community College taking accounting courses and loving it and getting very good grades

In 1979 John started a landscape business in West Hollywood, CA and was very successful in this venture which allowed he and his partner to travel to Europe every couple of years for 6 weeks at a time.

An opportunity to become a procurement specialist with the New Mexico State Armory Board in Santa Fe, New Mexico was available and John was hired on. The budget we were given was approximately $5 million per year. John executed multiple purchase orders, primarily for installing new armories throughout the state of New Mexico.  All the while working with the State Armory finance department until 1992. John was hired by a very successful landscape company and was trained in all aspects of finance being the office manager and human resource manager using Sage50 and QuickBooks.

Lots of financial and human resource scenarios were accomplished.

John has since opened TEEL ACCOUNTING LLC in 2018 assisting taxpayers prepare their tax forms and also assisting new company startups for several companies in the state of New Mexico and specializing in registering companies with the IRS New Mexico Corporation Commission and New Mexico Taxation Revenue for reporting of gross receipts taxes. We are registered with the IRS as an e-File operator.
